Add external people
KOLOLA can store details about external people who are not users like their name and contact details, a little bit like how a CRM works.
How does it Work?
- When you create a new activity and reach the "Who" page, type in the name of your external person you would like to add. A button will appear below the input box asking you if you would like to add your new contact.
- When you click on the "Add" button, an input box will appear. Fill in the details for your new contact, then click "Add Person".
- You can then search for your contact later on by typing their name into the search bar at the top of the page. Click on "View/Edit Details" to examine and change their contact information.
You can also add external people to existing activities. Simply expand them, click on "Edit" and select "People" from the menu. You will see the same input box as above and can follow the same process.
What can I use this for?
You can create external contacts within KOLOLA which can be assigned to activities, just like other users. You can also use external contacts to store contact information as part of their record, which gives you a convenient way to tie those details together with your activities.
